Aging and Alzheimer's

The daily stresses of Alzheimer’s disease and other conditions of aging are undeniable, but there is hope.

The Sticht Center on Healthy Aging and Alzheimer’s Prevention at Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist is the first facility in the world to incorporate geriatric acute care, transitional care, psychiatry, rehabilitation and clinical research under one roof.

The Sticht Center provides regional and national models of health care that improve the health of seniors in the Piedmont region and beyond. It houses two NIH-funded Centers of Excellence focused on translating research discoveries into practice. The Sticht Center is also home to a nationally recognized team of clinicians and researchers focused on delivering outstanding care for our aging population and training the next generation of geriatricians.

With your philanthropic support, we can continue to advance education, research, and clinical care that promotes optimal physical and brain health for older adults.
